The Student Health Center is a comprehensive, nationally accredited physician directed program providing outpatient ambulatory health care. Services include medical, gynecology, and allergy clinics, counseling services, and health education and wellness programs.
Medical Services
Students access our confidential health care services at no cost (except for our small fee schedule) for a full range of primary and urgent care conditions. These include, among other issues:
colds, viral sinusitis, viral bronchitis
STD’s, rashes, fatigue
mononucleosis, influenza, gastroenteritis
sprains or strains or other injuries
management of chronic conditions

Counseling Services
Students access our confidential counseling services at no cost for a full range of psychological and psychiatric conditions. These include, among other topics:
stress and time management
depression, anxiety, eating disorders
relationship problems
grief counseling
medication managerment

Women's and Men's Health
Students access our confidential sexual health care services at no cost (except for our small fee schedule) for a full range of issues including, but not limited to:
Annual GYN appointments
Contraception prescriptions
STD testing
Gardisil Immunizations
Emergency contraception (plan B)

Health Promotion services include individual and group programs around a variety of health topics, including but not limited to:

On-Line Health Portal
Our online Health Portal is an interactive and useful resource for students. From the Online Web Health Portal you can engage in secure and confidential messaging with medical staff, update and complete medical forms, and schedule certain medical appointments.

MISSION STATEMENT
The overall mission of the Student Health Center is to keep students healthy so that they may achieve their academic and personal goals. To this end, we provide accessible, cost-effective, current evidence-based treatment for acute and chronic physical and behavioral health problems, and prevention focused health education. We also conduct public health screening campaigns and manage health crises and outbreaks. We strive to provide these services in a way that engages the student as an adult consumer of healthcare.
